98th Concert Season

The Matinée Musicale Cincinnati 98th Concert Season 2010-2011 presents four outstanding performances including two pianists, a cellist, and two guitarists. Click below on the underlined names of these wonderful musicians to see their biographies and their programs. After each concert there will be a reception for you to meet each performing artist. Members' delectable pastries provides guests and artists with special refreshments in their honor. Our opening concert, takes place Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mayerson Jewish Community Center, 8485 Ridge Road, featured highly regarded very talented pianist Alessio Bax.


➢ Thursday, November 18, at 11:00 A.M. when highly acclaimed Israeli cellist Amit Peled, with his piano accompanist Eli Kalman, performs at the Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road. Mr. Peled will bring us to our feet as he presents his program to an energetic and appreciative audience. He is an exceptional cellist "having the flair of the young Rostropovich" (American Record Guide).

➢ Sunday, March 13, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Unitarian Church, 536 Linton, the Beijing Duo, two outstanding female guitarists Meng Su and Yameng Wang, will present an outstanding program. The Guitar Society of Fine Art said the Beijing Guitar Duo "create what is sure to be one of the most exciting guitar duos on the scene today" .

➢ Thursday, April 7, Olga Kerninternational competition pianist and recording artist who won the "Gold Medal at the Eleventh Van Cliburn International Piano Competition" will present her program at 11:00 A.M. at the Anderson Center.
