99th Concert Season
The 99th Concert Season of Matinee Musicale Cincinnati is presenting four outstanding musicians: a violinist, two pianists, and a tenor. We are excited to bring these artists to you. You are in for exceptional programs as we head toward the next season, our 100th year. We are honoring Mrs. Louise Nippert, a long time member who is also celebrating her 100th birthday. Click here to see the Members section. Child prodigy, Chad Hoopes, Violinist, opened the season on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. October 30, 2011 at the First Unitarian Church on Linton Street, downtown Cincinnati. A reception sponsored by Matinee Musicale Cincinnati followed the performance. The audience had a wonderful opportunity to meet and visit with our young artist following the concert. Alexander Melnikov, world renown pianist, second performer on our series of concerts performed on the Anderson Center stage November 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. This concert was followed by a reception where his audience was able to meet and greet him while enjoying refreshments. Our March 14, 2012 concert at 11:00 A.M. will be our second outstanding pianist of the concert season, Benjamin Grosvenor, at the lovely Anderson Center, 5-Mile Road. This will be Mr. Grosvenor's first American tour. You can meet him at a reception following the concert. April 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. will bring us Scott Ramsay, a tenor who has received numerous accolades for his performances. This concert, which closes our Matinee Musicale 99th Concert Season, will be held at the Mayerson Jewish Community Center on Ridge Road in Cincinnati just off the Cross County Highway. Please plan to attend all or some of these programs. Remember that any ticket(s) can be used for any concert(s). Go to Ticket Sales and purchase a subscription series. A four concert series is only $45. which includes a bonus ticket that can be used for any concert. At the door single tickets can be purchased. A single adult ticket is $15. and a single student ticket is $3. with ID. Bring your family and friends to one or more concerts. You will be so glad you did.
